Feeding off the energy and potential of this vibrant scene led us to a brand identity infused with key elements of NZ’s creative hub. Fractured typography and jarring lines reference tectonic plates and the harsh geology of the capital. The meeting of fault lines merging with the meeting of minds; a product that proudly reflects the personality of the city that inspired it.

Smoke and Embers is inspired by the qualities of whiskey, a smoky richness with a warming effect. Designed as a fireside sipper we used glowing orange and yellow with subtle hits if purple for that intense heat and took inspiration from the richness of Chipotle, Morita Chiles and Habanero that are used in the distillation process to give it a bit of a kick.

Our Coast speaks of New Zealand’s coastal identity, using native New Zealand Kelp and Marlborough sea salt. The colour palette takes its inspiration from the rivers that run down to the Pacific, from the calming turquoise of our oceans, to the vivid colours of a polished Pāua shell.
